Sacraments

Anointing of the Sick:

Offered during Advent and Lent, or by personal request. Call the Parish Office to schedule if a personal request.

 

Baptism:

Offered for registered, active families the 2nd Sunday of each month following the 11:00 am Mass, except during Lent and Advent. A prerequisite Baptism Preparation Class, held on the 3rd Tuesday at 7:00 pm in January, April, July and October, is required.  To have a child baptized at St. Elizabeth Parish, families must pick up a packet in the office.  Contained within the packet is a Baptismal registration form and a Baptismal Booklet.  Parents must read over the booklet, then return the registration form to the office.  The parish secretary will make an appointment for the family to meet with Father.  At that meeting, parents will decide on dates for a Baptismal Class and  Baptismal date.   

First Eucharist (Communion):

For your child to receive this sacrament, he/she must be enrolled in the Parish Religious Education Program (P.R.E.P.) and parents must be active participants at Mass and in their Sacramental Preparation. Please contact the Religious Education Department.   First Communion Retreat for PREP registered children is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9:30am to 1:00pm.  First Communion weekend is May 6th & 7th.

 

Confirmation:

Your child must be enrolled in the Parish Religious Education Program (P.R.E.P.) for at least two years prior to receiving this sacrament. Please contact the Religious Education Department.  Confirmation by the Bishop takes place every two years.  Next Confirmation will be in 201.

 

Marriage:

Active parishioners should contact the Parish Office six (6) months in advance before setting a wedding date. Pre-Cana or its equivalent is required.

 

Reconciliation:

Each Saturday from 4:45 to 5:10 pm, or by personal request to the Pastor. Parish Penance Service is offered during Advent and Lent.
