Parish Religious Education Program 

Registrations for the 2016-2017 Parish Religious Education Program are now open!

Please carefully and completely read and complete the registration forms as promptly as possible. Deadline for registrations is August 7th. All registrations received after August 7th will be placed on a waiting list and are subject to classroom and volunteer availability. Please note that with a Sunday morning program, regular weekly Mass attendance and engagement in parish life by the family is expected and required. Classes begin Sunday, September 11, 2016.

New for 2016-2017:

        • after completing this online registration, you will be redirected to the WeShare site for payments
          • once completed, you should receive a confirmation email.


  • Note: for online payments, you will still need to complete the WeShare registration if you intend to make your payment online. If you are paying at the parish, please see Payment Options below
    • There is some duplication of information, however as this is new for 2016-2017 we want to ensure that everyone's information is correctly processed and serves as a built-in safeguard to ensure the new system works correctly. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
      • Our long term goal is to streamline the registration process as much as possible.

  • Online Registration & Payment: through our WeShare platform and scroll to PREP 2016-2017
    • Registration can be done entirely through the WeShare platform, however we encourage you to use the new form above.


  • Simplified Fees – now just a flat fee per student to avoid confusion.
    • Parish Rate: $100/student before 8/7/16. After 8/7, $150 per student.
    • Non-Parishioners: $150/student before 8/7/16. After 8/7, $200 per student
  • Class sizes are limited – please register ASAP.
  • Any registrations after 8/7/16 will be placed on waiting list.

NOTE: Every Student must have a completed and signed Student Emergency Information and Release form on file. These can be printed from the website or picked up on the Information Table by the PREP Family Mailboxes, or from the Religious Education Office.

Traditional Registration – printable forms are available on the Information Table or can be printed from the parish website – Please see below for details on all forms:

  1. Family Registration FormOne form required per family.
  2. Student Emergency & Release Form: One form is required per student. We are required to maintain this information for the health and safety of all students. Information is kept confidential. Note: If you register online, you will still be required to complete this form for each student no later than Sept. 30th. This is the information we are required to obtain, similar to school emergency cards that are required to be completed and signed annually.
  3. Volunteer Registration Application: For anyone interested in assisting our program by serving as a classroom catechist or aide, you are eligible for up to a 50% discount in fees (at discretion of pastor and DRE). If you are returning volunteer, a signed volunteer form is required to be kept on file for each year you are active. Requirements: A willingness to share and grow your own faith as well as completing a Protecting God’s Children awareness session and an Ohio BCI background check (or FBI check if not a resident of Ohio for at least five (5) consecutive years).

Payment Options

  • Credit Card Payments, Electronic Debit, and Electronic Checks are accepted online at the St. Elizabeth WeShare Online Giving Website
    • https://stelizabethchurch.weshareonline.org/ Payments made through the WeShare site can be scheduled over time to make it easier on your family budget (i.e. setup up automatic monthly payments)
    • Credit card payments can also be made in the Parish Religious Education Office during business hours or by appointment. 
  • Payments by check or cash may be mailed or dropped off at the Parish Religious Education Office during business hours or by appointment, or may be placed in the collection basket when your family attends Mass. If placing in the Sunday collection, be certain to place in a separate envelope clearly marked “P.R.E.P. 2016-2017”.
  • Financial Hardship – If your family is experiencing temporary financial hardship, please contact the Religious Education Office to discuss matters in confidence. NO student will be denied access to religious education for financial reasons.

Special Circumstances:

Please make note on your registration forms if there are any special circumstances for your student. For example, if you have a 7th grader that has not received First Eucharist, please make note of that information and/or contact me directly. We will do our best to meet you where you are.
